# 9.1 Development Roadmap

Labelfi’s roadmap is strategically designed to meet the needs of AI and data labeling markets. The following milestones are planned over the next 18-24 months, ensuring AI and blockchain integration for sustained growth:

**Phase 1: 2024 Q4**

* **Testnet Launch:** Begin validator node mining, voting for supernodes, and browser integration.
* **Image Annotation Tool Release:** Labelfi’s advanced image annotation tool, which leverages AI and manual input, will be introduced.

**Phase 2: 2025 Q1**

* **Mainnet Launch:** Data labeling tasks will be distributed as Task-to-Earn (T2E) requiring staking.
* **First Supernodes Deployment:** Supernodes will balance load and scale the image annotation processes, enhancing platform speed and reliability.

**Phase 3: 2025 Q2**

* External Compute Power Integration: Connect external processing power for seamless, high-volume image annotation.

**Phase 4: 2025 Q3**

* **Model Layer:** Deployment of the AI-based model layer to automate large-scale image annotation tasks, improving accuracy over time.
